'The best panto script i have had the pleasure of seeing in years'
Lesley Wilkinson (Theatre Historian) |
 |
| This is infact two pantomimes rolled into one - the classic 'Babes In The Wood' and the rarely performed 'Robin Hood'. First presented professionally Christmas '92/93, it was hailed as one of the finest Quartermain pantomimes. Based around the especially written ballad of 'Robin Hood', the pantomime is narrated by Alan O'Dale and includes all the great classic comedy routines including -the schoolroom - the bedroom - the comedy dual and the hilarious girl guide routine. This pantomime provides outstanding comedy parts as well as strong dramatic leads and a wide variety of smaller supporting roles. |
