 |
| This extremely funny and unique script requires two very strong performers to play Mrs. Allsop and Mrs. Berriewillow, originally written for Gert and Daisy [Elsie and Doris Walters]. The other roles provide good opportunities for strong comedy and character artistes. Chorus work is important as are the Muddletops - a troop of children - who all have small speaking parts. This version of 'Jack' has been well tried and tested. It was revised in 1979 and has always been well received by both critics and audiences. |
