| Undoubtedly one of the finest 'Aladdin' scripts available to Amateur Societies, based on the original Quartermain script starring The Great Dame Comedian Clarkson Rose as Widow Twanky and Alexander Bridge as Abanazar. The original version was featured in two television documentaries on Pantomime and broadcast by the BBC in it's entirety live from the Palace Theatre. This up dated version was first presented professionally in 1992, starring Alexander Bridge and Bruce James. This is a box office winner and gives great opportunities for Principals and Chorus as well as interesting work for Back-stage Crew. |
