| This successful thriller toured the U.K. extensively during 1991 and received outstanding press reviews while
at the same time playing to packed audiences everywhere. Likened by the press to the controversial television
series ‘Twin Peaks’; the plot is based on a true series of murders that took place in America in the 1950’s. The
storyline is complicated and requires outstanding acting particularly from the Juvenile Male who not only
plays himself, but also appears as one of the murdered women. The most demanding role in the piece is that
of the mentally retarded mute 'Billy’, although all characters in the play are exacting. The final scene although
violent is exceptionally moving. This play was nominated for a Best New Play of the Year award. |
