This award winning musical has been performed with great success all over the world and broadcast by Clydeside Radio as their major Christmas broadcast. This brilliant stage musical provides many opportunities for actors, dancers, singers, directors and choreographers. Although there are many speaking and singing parts, many of these can easily be doubled, thus making this the ideal show for both large and small companies alike. There is a large amount of chorus work which provides, in addition to well harmonized vocal arrangements, an opportunity to develop characterisations and changes of style.
The exciting score by David Aman interpolates many of the best loved traditional carols and the libretto by Peter Quartermain is of the highest standard one would expect from two such experienced and successful writers.
For many years the play adaptations of 'A Christmas Carol' have proved to be one of the greatest box office successes of commercial theatre - now characters that the whole world loves come to life in musical theatre. |
