 |
| This new adaptation of the Dickins classic played to capacity audiences throughout its National tour of 1992;
and now has many productions scheduled throughout the World by leading professional companies. The
adaptation has been devised in such a way that it may be presented with virtually no scenery and used as a
study in conjunction with school projects as set out by the educational authorities. At the same time, this is a
delightful (and described by the press as ‘brilliant’) stage adaptation of Dickens’ work that will appeal to all
the family. This is not a full scale musical by any means, but a play with Christmas songs and music - ideal
for both small and large companies, schools and colleges. A schools’ project paper may be obtained from the
Bureau as soon as contracts for performances have been exchanged. This, companies will find more than
helpful in obtaining capacity audiences. Orchestration: Keyboards only. |
