Debra's first taste of pantomime came at the age of 16, when she was cast as one of the youngest Principal Girls in the country at the famous City Varieties Music Hall in her home town of Leeds. Since that time Debra has become a very experienced repertory actress, specialising in comedy and always in demand at regional theatres throughout the country.
In 1995 Debra turned her hand to script writing with huge success. Her versions of the pantomimes SNOW WHITE; ALADDIN; DICK WHITTINGTON; MOTHER GOOSE and BABES IN THE WOOD have all been previously reserved for Professional companies but are now available for Amateur Societies. All these pantomimes have been very well received, as Debra believes all her pantos should have a strong storyline, lots of comedy, audience participation and is fun to watch and to perform in. |
